Hello and welcome to Uniquely You!
Uniquely You was founded on the idea of joining people in celebrating their uniqueness. We love coming alongside you to create beautiful gifts, home décor and party accessories. Founded by Laura as a passion project in 2020, it is now run by sisters-in-law Laura and Nikky who make this business happen while running around after their young families. Celebrating big and small wins in life is important to us both, whether it’s celebrating a good week, a milestone birthday, a small gift for a friend, a corporate gift or any of those other special moments.
We absolutely love what we do here. We have both always loved crafts of all kinds. Laura found a real connection to scrapbooking after her mum introduced her to it as a teenager. The whole process of creating, recording, and preserving memories was captivating - celebrating moments and seasons in life. It was a creative outlet that helped to preserve and honour memories. Whereas Nikky has always enjoyed art and the process of design. She has years of dabbling in graphic design for a range of organisations and has always enjoyed making beautiful things with beautiful messages. For both of us, it is so important to make memories and milestones special. We hope that our creations, made with our industrial laser, will enable you to bring special touches to each corner of your home and to make magical memories.
We bring our own design aesthetic, incorporating our New Zealand-ness and Christian values into beautiful contemporary pieces with uplifting messages. Our passion is creating items that are not massed-produced, but locally crafted with love and care. Items that bring you joy and happiness through being part of your home or to add that special finishing touch to an event; to create gifts that will become treasured keepsake items for years to come.
We also love to work with other New Zealand businesses. Having created signs for ECE centres, indoor business signs, bulk blanks for small businesses and corporate gifts, we love to work with you to create the perfect pieces for your workplace or business.
